Somerley 5K Fun run and 10K permitted run at the private Somerley Estate in Ringwood Hampshire BH24 3PL. Our 8th annual run with over 500 entrants, free chocolate, medal and water bottle for all finishers. Prizes for top 3 male & female runners in both events. Entrant raising most sponsorship wins a round of golf for 4 with bacon rolls & hot drinks at Parley Golf Centre in Hurn. Every entrant raising over £20 sponsorship wins a free Ruby Runners t-shirt as part of our anniversary celebrations. Pre entry for 10K is £8 for UKA club members & £10 for non members and for the 5K is £10 for all.On the day entry is £10 for club members & £12 for non members for 10K and £12 for 5K. 250 km over 5 days. RAW Africa Namibia is part of the toughest footrace series in the world: 5 days, 5 stages of high endurance ultra running. Competitors must carry their kit & food for 5 days in their backpacks during the ultimate African Adventure. RAW Africa will take place in the pitiless surrounds of the Namib Desert through the famous sossusvlei salt pan and on to some of the highest sand dunes on the planet. Heat,height and sand combine to make a truly exceptional challenge in the most spectacular of surroundings.
